Celebrations and Dolphins

Hello again everyone,

Sorry that it has been a while but things have been busy around the house here getting things ready for school that starts on Groundhog Day. People here only know about the movie so I think Mr. Williams is planning to fill them in next week.

Monday was Australia Day (similar to our Canada Day). We went down to the village square and observed some of the activities. There were a number of speeches, the Australian National Anthem and a free breakfast.

Later on in the week, I was invited to go with Mr. Williams to a team building event with the other staff but I opted not to go. I don't do too well in the water and he went swimming with the dolphins. He was holding onto a rope with one hand that was pulling him along with the dolphins, and with the other hand, he was trying to take pictures as the dolphins were swimming underneath and around him.

The weather was perfect (40 degrees in the city but much cooler on the water). Meetings started this week and he is looking foward to his return to school on Monday.

Be sure to write back. I hear you have had a little bit of snow and some snow days. Is that true? Wish all the best to Mr. Schneider for me!

Clyde
